Each year, as Thanksgiving approaches, cooking shows, lifestyle magazines, and morning shows go all out trying to coach you on how to make the perfect Thanksgiving meal. But if you don’t feel like slaving for hours over a hot stove this year, you’re not alone. Why not sit back and have someone else do the cooking for you, right? The National Restaurant Association actually conducted a study and found that one in ten people prefer to dine outside on holidays. If you’re that one, then this post is for you. Our Westchester Limo Service has compiled a short list of some of the best places to enjoy a meal in Westchester on Thanksgiving.

Crabtree’s Kittle House

Crabtree’s Kittle House is a historic restaurant that is super-popular amongst Westchester locals. Crabtree’s Kittle House will host a three-course Thanksgiving meal on the 23rd at a fair price of only $65 per person. Head on down to Kittle Road for some delicious naturally-raised turkey along with all the usual accompaniments. If you prefer, however, you can also opt for the fish entrees, steak dish, or one of the vegetarian selections.

Alvin & Friends

Chef Raymond Jackson will prepare a Southern-style Thanksgiving buffet on the 23rd. Options will include deep-fried turkey, jerk turkey, roast pig, fried chicken, roast beef, and a wide selection of accompaniments such as three bean salad, sweet yams, and smoked greens. The hotel will be accepting reservations between 3 and 6 pm, so get there early if you don’t want to miss a spot. Adults will be admitted at $48 and children below 12 will be admitted at the small price of $25.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is located in Tarrytown and we want to tell you right away that they do not serve beef, so if you are a beef enthusiast, this might not be for you. Instead, you will get to enjoy delicious roast turkey that you can pair with their popular sweet potato casserole.

Thyme

Thyme will be serving both brunch and dinner on Thanksgiving Day and both instances will be three-course meals. Brunch at Thyme goes for only $24 while dinner is priced at $43; however, children under 10 will get a significant discount. All meals will be prepared under the watchful eye of Chef Tom Costello who is known for his gluten-free menu. Brunch will feature selections such as crab cakes, eggs Benedict, and flourless chocolate cake. On the other hand, dinner will feature classics such as roast turkey, wild mushroom ravioli, and apple pie.

Goldfish Oyster Bar and Restaurant

If you are a seafood fan, this is the place to be. Goldfish Oyster Bar and Restaurant is located in Ossining, and for Thanksgiving, they will have all the traditional Turkey Day meals available to you and your family. This will include, of course, roast turkey, cranberries, gravy, and their yummy pies that come in all kinds of flavors.
