This annual parade goes down on 11th March in Eastchester, Southern Westchester County from 3 pm. The parade is sponsored and organized yearly by the Irish-American Social Club, a non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 by individuals of Irish-American descent living in the Eastchester, Crestwood, Tuckahoe, and Bronxville areas back then. Head on down there and take part in this colorful celebration of Irish culture and don’t be late, you don’t want to miss a thing.
Head on down to White Plains for the 21st St. Patrick’s Day City Parade on the 10th of March from noon. The parade will begin at Mamaroneck Avenue and head on towards Main Street, but the party doesn’t end there. After the march, the merriment will continue with a Cultural Tour that gives participants the opportunity to visit numerous local venues for all the cabbage, corned beef, drinks, and Irish music one can handle. Join thousands of other participants in celebrating the culture, spirit, and warmth of the Irish heritage. Mark your calendar today!
The 42nd Putnam St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place in Mahopac, Northern Westchester on the 11th of March. The parade steps off at 2 pm on Route 6. The Putnam Parade is the third largest parade in the city, so you are guaranteed the full experience of Irish heritage, culture, and pride. Numerous organizations, clubs, bands, etc., come together each year for this event to show their appreciation and support of the Irish community, and if your organization is interested in joining the list of participants or sponsors simply log on to the Westchester-Putnam St. Patrick's Day Parade website for more information. Or simply show up with friends and family and enjoy the festivity.
This year’s annual Parade will be the 22nd of its kind and will kick off at 1 pm on Main Street and head towards Broadway on the 11th of March. The event is scheduled to last only 3 hours, so it is imperative that you are there on time or you will miss out on ALL of the fun. On the upside, there will be plenty of parking spaces at the municipal lot by the Tarrytown train station as well as the Sleepy Hollow High School, so there is really no excuse to run late, right?
